Found a house in Collinsville, beautiful 3/2/2 on a half acre of land. Suppposed to be closing on the 31st of July.

Also, this Saturday is Stephie's 3rd birthday. She's gotten so big so fast!

A lot of you know that my mom died this past February. In an effort to help out my dad, as well as be able to get some help with raising a 3-year-old, we've relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was born and raised here so it's like slipping on an old shoe, but I've been gone 6 years so a lot has changed.

We're currently house-hunting, mostly in the Owasso/Collinsville area (they are suburbs to the North of Tulsa). We've found a couple of houses we like and even plan to place a bid for one tomorrow as long as the down-payment, closing costs, etc., work out to meet what we have saved up. Once our home in Florida sells we can replace the money in savings so it should work out. I hope that home sells soon so we don't have to pay two mortgages long!

I'm still around occasionally, but with this huge move and purchase going on it really limits me. Once we get our own home (we're staying with my sister right now) and I get my computer hooked up then I'll be back on a lot more often.

Also, I made a screenshot submission to the WoW website and it got chosen for a future "Picture of the Day". I was pretty stoked about that. I'm a nerd, I know, but oh well. It's a picture of a lot of NE druids in cat form, mine included, dancing around a female BE. I took the screenie right as she had her hand positioned to look like she was patting one of us on the head so that made it kind of cool. I guess Blizzard thought so too! I would post it here but it's saved on my laptop and I don't have it hooked to the internet right now.

My husband and I have been playing this game nd I really enjoy it. It's certainly not like WoW. In some ways that's bad and in some ways it's good. Overall I enjoy both games and I still like WoW more at this point, but AoC is a nice change and has shown itself to be pretty fun.

BTW, I rolled a demonologist and I'm really enjoying her. I tried a few other classes first, but really took to this one. I should try a plate-wearer next so I can be familiar with the way they're played, but I'd like to try to focus on just one toon for now while I'm learning to play.

I feel like I'm babysitting only I'm not getting paid.

It's funny. FBI, Monocrom, Neph, me, and several others have gotten to posting pictures and misc. jokings-around from old times on the BBS in the "Carmilla & FBI in Australia Pics" topic. What's sad is how fast the topic scrolls off the front page with a rare glance from the average users. I guess since it involves users and mods that are not around as much anymore the new kids aren't able to find the humor in it.

This thread is a perfect example of how much the BBS changes and how the member turn-over rate is so high. It's also a good example of why I, and so many others, don't post very often anymore. There just isn't the same type of feel to the new crowd as there was to the old (with occasional exception, of course).

Good times, just the same. Maybe us old users need to start some good old fashioned threads more often, huh?

So, after much encouragement (more like peer pressure!!) by my husband and some friends, I broke down and reinstalled WoW. We're going to take our toons and transfer to a new server as a small, tight group of friend. Mostly gonna focus on PvP and badge farming since they made the gear a lot better. I'll miss raiding and the loot you get with it, but it wasn't worth the constant dedication (a.k.a. "Job I'm not getting paid for"), time away from my family, and just drama and annoyances over all.

So yea, I'm back on the WoW wagon. Now I know why they tell alcoholics not to hang out with the friends they did when they drank. lol

I'm still gonna play Hellgate London and SimCity Societies though. w00tz!

LOL@the good ole days

In my last post I asked everyone to post in my "Happy birthday Nephthys" thread and I posted a picture of her. First off, several of the people who responded commented on the picture as if it were me. It's not me, it's Neph. Second, I don't think many of them posted in the thread like I asked them to! DAMN, FELLAS. Stop looking at boobs and read!

BTW, NP about the belated response, Neph. I gave a super-belated response to your thread about me being online. =)

I think Newgrounds is cool.
